Re: Oil for Crusader 8.1
Well if Mobil One is that great, not that I'm saying it's not, why not just put it in and forget it? Let's have them put it I a marine engine, run it at lets say 80 degree temp for 100 hours, then let it set for 6 months in the upper northern hemisphere where we get the cold, them run it again for 100 hours in 80 degree temps, blah, blah, blah. Put it thru a marine engine test and let's see what it looks like in a marine engine after all that for a you tube documentary! Then we all would never have to do the dirty and change the oil in our marine engines again! LOL Please excuse me had 2 cocktails prior to posting this!

Just to let everyone know, we moved the boat to our home port. About an 80-90 mile run. Made it in 4 hours. Boat ran great.

Re: Oil for Crusader 8.1
We were lucky to have a nice day for the cruise.
Best part of the day...I have a fairly small slip, only about 15' wide (13' wide boat).
We had an audience waiting for us when we got to the marina, 10 people standing at our slip.
As we all know, docking sometimes can be challenging. Anyway...nailed it! As good a docking job as I've ever done.

Re: Oil for Crusader 8.1
When we took our 355 on the maiden voyage to our new marina, we ran into a storm. Rain and strong wind gusts. pulled into the marina just before total darkness. First time with the new boat, wind and rain, wife hiding in the cabin, no dock help and on the boat help. Backed it in perfectly with NO ONE WATCHING!! I don't think I have done it that well since.
