New kids on the block!
Hi everyone! Today my wife and I take ownership of a beautiful 1998 Carver 400 CMY with twin Cummins diesels. We are so excited for this new adventure! We have a slip on Harbor Island San Diego and looks like we have fun neighbors too. The yacht is in very good shape and our first projects will be new teak-like flooring in the salon, new mattresses and new carpet on the bridge. Hope to meet people from our area and to talk to others with like yachts.

Hi... I did the same as you a few weeks ago (Aft Cabin 3607 - Volvo Penta diesels), but I left San Diego and bought it in Florida. My kids just left, I’m able to retire, and I can’t take the taxes and insanity of California anymore. But now you have your little escape! Congrats - as someone still new to this I’ve found boating people very nice and helpful. Enjoy.

I just purchased a 1998 Carver 400 myself. I’m in Georgia, otherwise, I’d ask to meet up.
