Gas overflow - Fuel Vent On Montego Midcabin Clogged?

It's always great to update when you solve a problem. We all can learn from the experiences of others and if the same or similar problem occurs on one of our boats we already have a potential start point.

I have a 2008 carver mariner. It appears the fuel vent is part of the gas filler cap. does anyone know if that is the case??

I don't think so.....should be on the hull sides....round stainless vent...

This according to the 2007 360 mariner manual at Carver Yachts...
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.

That type of deck fitting is available on the market, don't know if it's OEM for your particular application but who knows what a previous owner might have done.
