New 1986 3607 Aft Cabin owner

My best friend and I just purchased an '86 3607 Aft Cabin. This forum was already a great source of information as we were doing our shopping - first for a '32 and then things got a bit out of hand.

Looking forward to being part of the great community that you have here!

P.S. Did I mention our maiden voyage will be to cruise from Muskegon, MI to Huron OH? And that this is our first boat? I expect that you'll be hearing a lot from us.

I have an older version of the same boat... an '83. Make sure you check in along the way and let us know how it's going!! WITH PICS!

Good luck with your first trip.
Suggest a USPS boating coarse for starters.
Have plenty of dash equipment.
Make sure the VHF radio transmits and receives!

That's great! I just purchased a 1985 Carver 3207 on Sunday. I'm taking it on my maiden voyage from Kean's Marina in Detroit to Desmund Marine in Port Huron this weekend. Just following the red bouys across Lake St. Clair and up the river....
