2001 Carver 444. AC

My Fwd AC is doing some Bizarre things that is orobably the controller as they seem to go bad regularly.

The AC will sometimes run well for hours cooling nicely. Then the fault cycle begins.

The heat comes on and the display starts cycling thru single numbers. The AC condenser is not frozen over!

Today is ran fine awhle and then quit and displayed a fault code of HPF. Of course that fault code is not in manual.

The other two ACs work fine and water pump is working.

Hpf. Is high pressure fault or a high head pressure on compressor. Could be issue with air flow, waterflow or compressor. Don't know what brand ac you have so maybe put up more info.

I spoke to Temtec formily Marine air and they recomended cleaning elctrical connections and doing a software reset. Neither if which solved problem. I surender, Mechanic brung new controll board and high oressure switch Monday

Good luck with the repairs. I just bought an 01 444 and am looking for a manual/owner's guide. I cannot find one online. Do you know where I may find one?

Ac repairman installed remote remp sensor and had simialar problem. Ordered a control circuit board. These circuit boards sure are garbage. That 3 in 3 years fir me.
