I'm in the process of buying a 95 355 aft cabin.
In my research I'm noticing that there were two wood options on the interior. I see a dark reddish wood and a blonde wood.
The boat I'm buying has dark wood. I need some advice on what that wood is, and how to refresh it. There are a few scrapes and scuffs and it's showing its age. I'm not into making it super deep gloss furniture style, just a decent gloss and fresh look.
I've searched this site and didn't see much. Any advice is appreciated.

According to the second last page of the 95 brochure 355 aft , the options were Teak wood as standard and the Maple as an option.....

FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.

Thanks for the link and confirmation. Looks like I need to start researching how to clean up Teak!

Re: What species of wood on the interior
I downloaded the manual for a 1988 3867 Santego and was surprised to see specific product finishes referenced in the woodwork care section. So, in 1988 there may be hand-rubbed mineral oil, Wattco Teak Preservative, or Antique Oil Finish by Minwax. Strangely, the product chosen was dependant on boat length.
Maybe similar info is to be found in the 95 manual?
Regards,
Matt
