Winterizing 1985 3697 Mariner

First year to winterize this boat, can anyone tell me where the raw water seacock intake is for the 454 crusaders on this boat? Found a seacock under salon floor next to the v-drive that goes into the drive and out of drive appears to go back to engine. Is this the raw water intake for the engine or is there another seacock located somewhere i havent found yet?

Any other information or procedures regarding winterizing the above boat would be appreciated!

If you aren't sure how to follow the lines from the seacocks to engines etc. I would strongly suggest you pay the marina to winterize everything the first year. Be there when they do it and watch what all is done.
If you miss something, even on the potable water side, it will cost more to fix than what you would pay for the winterization.

If you don't see an intake going into the drive then back out the other side and into the hull again, then it goes out to the engine. I agree with Tom, if you've never done it, then get a knowledgeable friend that knows what he's doing and has winterized his own boat, or get the marina to do it. If you mess this up or miss something, it will be costly.

While I am capable of winterizing myself I prefer to let the marina mechanics handle my engine winterization. If they screw up they have to fix it. If I screw up it's on me. I do winterize my onboard fresh water system, the head and holding tank and the shower sump. The marina mechanics do the engines and A/C-heat system. It costs a few $$ but the peace of mind is priceless.

Agree with others, let the marina do it or enlist the help of a boating buddy who's been around the block once or twice winterizing their own boat.
