Thanks V57 . I am anxious to try your suggestions . The boat has been on the hard for two months :-( . Hopefully it will be back in its slip in the nest week or so , so I can start checking . To your knowledge (you seem to have a lot) is there anything they could have disconnected or broke while removing & installing the new air filter ?

There's nothing they could have broken if only replacing the air filter. It literally just sits in a metal sleeve in front of the turbo air intake. Once you pull the filter out and look in there you'll see what I mean.

Yeah ! Problem found and fixed ! The hose between the turbo and the manifold somehow just slightly slipped off on one side . Clamps were not tight enough . This caused the turbo to have no boost effect . Slid id back up , tightened hose clamps and problem solved ! Thanks everyone for your input and suggestions .

Gotta love it when the solution is so simple not to mention inexpensive. If you can, post a picture of the hose/clamp in question. Thanks for posting.

Right below where it says Preview Submit there is an add files box, to the left.....just click and follow instructions as to where to upload the desired file from.
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.

Hard to see but the red hose should be down over the white collar .
