You got the right. The odd thing is: Carver seemed to be pretty good at locating and providing access to most components that need monitoring/repair. Just not on my A/C - heater. My dining table and seats are next to the A/C unit, so there is no removal opportunity there. By the way, how do you open up your sofa bed. I have one on the starboard side, but have not been able to open it up. There are storage drawers under the seating section. Wondering if I am getting hung up on something there. Is there a lock tab I am not seeing? I can see behind the sofa, there is a 4 inch space between it and the boat hull. Thx.

My sofa bed is free floating. It can be moved freely. There is no storage underneath. I just pull on the bottom front and it opens up into a bed.

Here is the update as promised, just a little later. The A/C unit is working great! It was just that bag of rags blocking the air flow to the unit. Those units need lots of air flow around them. YIPPEE! :-D 8-) er

Love it when a solution to a problem is found.
