Cigarjim - I would suggest actually measuring that slip before passing on a great boat, or moving up 5' in slip for just 7".
Looking at the model 396.

Waybomb - are your slip lengths true to length? The 396 is just 7" longer than the slip, if it is. In this area, the slips are a little longer than stated length because so many people go stern first. With stern in, the entire slip can not be used because of the triangle of support struts, so some marinas do not count that space.

Re: Looking at the model 396.
Cooler, I own the two slips in front of my condo and a slip in the yacht club. I just know the marinas in the area very well.
Cigar, there's always pier 1000 or Brian's marina.
I believe there are a few slips for rent at SJIYC next to anchors way marina. I have a slip there but it's rented out for next season. 45 x 25. $1600/season.
I would not recommend anchors way.

Re: Looking at the model 396.
Yep, the 390's also had the extended bow pulpit. The 396 originally inquired about, does not. LOA on that model 396 is 40'7", taken right from the spec sheet.
Sadey, you did really well! Good for you. Can't wait to see her in Door County next season.
