About 4 years now and still doing upgrades, I guess that's a never ending thing. As long as we live on the water in California, we will keep her. I'm also shopping for the largest trailerable cruise we can get (looking for a 27 footer) so we can tow it all over the US and boat in new in different places when we retire in a few years.

John Snow - I know where you can find 2 boats in almost pristine condition, low hours, and in that 27 - 28 ft range. Both are in Northeast WI, and have only seen fresh water. One is a Sea Ray 270 Sundancer (269 hrs), the other is a Cruisers Yachts 2870 Rogue ( 400ish hours ). Both are late 90's early 2000 model years. Beams are 9.5 and 10.0 respectively. Let me know if you want links. Carver hasn't built anything in that size since mid 90's

Re: I'm the John Snow of CYO
John, you may already know this, but most states, at least here on the right coast, require a permit to tow anything over 8'6" wide. A lot of go fast boats, center consoles and bow riders in the 27' to 42' range make 8'6" beam boats for this reason. But it makes cabin space feel a bit tight. Some of those newer little tugs do a good job of making the interior feel bigger and still hold the narrow beam and are trailerable. Someone in our marina bought a new one last year. Volvo diesel inboard with bow and stern thrusters. Neat little boat, but was 300k for a 31 x 8'6"
