Aft hardtop lights.
Hello, this maybe a silly question but here it is. What switch turns on the aft hardtop lights for the aft deck on a 1992 330 aft cabin ? Thanks

the switch for mine are inside the line locker next to the cabin door. Up high and to the left. I think you may have the same configuration.

No such thing as silly questions. You are going to discover a number of things as you get acclimated to your boat. If you don't find that switch in the locker, it may be connected to a small black push button switch that turns on the courtesy lights. That switch is on the port side of cabin door. Your surveyor probably checked all lights to make sure they work. check with him/her.

Thanks for the help in finding the switch. Yes I’m trying to get to know the boat, I sure do like this form!

Yes, this is a good place to be. The only time it becomes confusing is with boats in our year ranges, and older. You may ask about something, then get an answer from somebody who is not aware their boat was modified by a previous owner, and no longer matches the original installation. I know some people cut corners and save a few bucks here and there, but they pay somewhere down the line, or the subsequent owner does. I was looking at a different boat a couple of years ago, asked the owner if I could pull a couple spark plugs to see the burn history. He was OK with it, but I could not get the plugs to budge. He finally said he would really torque on the plugs. They were automotive plugs, and rusted into the housings. So he saved $1 per plug, but had 15 plugs to get out. Hope he didn't have to spend hundreds to get em all out without stripping threads.

It’s amazing what people will do to save a buck! Little do they know they will cost someone big bucks in the end......
