Transom Lights
Has anybody added these to a 356? I would like to add them but curious about position. Seems like four would be required but where to put the other 2. Would it be a odd shape if two were in the center of the transom and the other two on the outer sponsons? Or would two be enough?
Thank you for the help!

Re: Transom Lights
sure youll get lots of suggestions but i didnt want to spend a crazy amount of money on underwater lights and i didnt want to have them pull a lot of current from my battery bank if i leave them on for hours.so on my 405 which your 356 is smaller brother . link below for lights .i used 2"s" and mounted them on a bracket i made for my trim tabs and 1"ds" mounted above the drain plug center of transom. i'm in fresh water and went with green to be better for night fishing and to be different from all friends who have blue. been in a year and i think they look very good and light pattern is equal all the way across the back. they are not very expensive like some lights out there and i figured i didnt loose much if they fail or dont look good but so far i would have done this all again

Re: Transom Lights
Sadey - Dave. When do you think you will launch? The reason I ask is, I am installing some Xenon underwater lights next weekend. Aiming to launch very early May. I want to see how these work before I endorse them. One of the fisherman that come into the shop is very happy with their output. He fishes at night and says they spread light 12 to 14 feet. I am going to mount to Bennett trim tabs. Total kit should be around $200 & real easy install. 2 lights, one color, on/off switch, real simple. I am just going for that Cooler look of aft glow. You going to be in this neck of the woods before May?

Re: Transom Lights
Have you thought of a drain plug light or plug light cluster?

Re: Transom Lights
I had Coastal Night lights on my boat for years and last season, the housing on the double length finally warped and half of it went out.I would absolutely buy these lights again.

Re: Transom Lights
A friend of mine did that with his 356. He wanted to get an idea if he really liked it before he cut or drilled holes. He really like it and it worked so good he didn't ever buy anything different.
There are a few out there for the drain plug. There is one, I think 1000 lumens, that is all brass construction which is the one he bought.
