Greetings everyone...My wife and I are new to boating and our first purchase is a '93 Carver 300 Aft Cabin. In pretty rough shape when we got her, as the prior owners had left the state (WA) and neglected her for two years before deciding to sell. After detailing the exterior, a complete gut job and reno of the interior, and a full tune-up of both Crusader 350's plus new heat exchangers and risers, she is now in nearly perfect condition and we look forward to enjoying many years of happy cruising in and around the San Juan Islands of North Puget Sound.
We now feel like we have our own waterfront condo for less than the cost of a decent used car, and we love the space and comfort of the Aft Cabin layout.
Looking Forward to sharing adventures with other Carver fans! Dan
Ours sat for 10 years before we bought our ugly 3697. It's still ugly, but you can;t see the outside when you are in it and other than the ugliness of the big black stripe and windows, this is a mighty fine and well laid out vessel. You can find the entire project in the link in my sig line.
And aa is right, I am betting you know your boat as well as we know ours.
Thanks
Fred
