starts then dies

Hello, 1987 32 carver no start both Eng Starts the dies, I have power at positive side of coil when cranking, no power at ballast resistor but i have power coming out of ignition switch, is there a shut off switch? where can i find a wiring diagram? Thanks

To be clear, both engines have exactly the same problem ? A little more info could help the guys.......did this just start like this or has it been on and off ?

As far as a diagram....try a search for mercruiser inboard engine wiring etc, etc.

Most of these issues are fuel related. Is it old or bad fuel? Have you changed filters? Cleaned up your flame arrestors? Anyway, try this PDF link
