I have the 2 bedroom version carver 456 aft and was wondering is it possible to turn it into the 3 bedroom without doing anything major. What have they done to stop me from doing the upgrade if you know thanks.

Quite honestly, unless you want to pay a cabinetmaker and get a pile of the original lumber, with all the plans - it will never look right.

The floor is the same. The boat would have to be stripped down to the floor in the area where the third stateroom would be, and then built back up.

When all this is done, you will have a ton of money spent and it won't look right.

Oh, that makes sense now - I was re-reading the thread thinking I must have missed a post lol...I think there would be way to much work to undertake that project of converting 2 stateroom to 3. I know that some of the Bayliner 4788 M/Y's had 3 staterooms and their owners converted them to 2 large staterooms. Its much easier to take bulkheads and trim out than it is to install them and make them look OE.
