carver 2002 396 rain water leak
How do i fix rain water traveling down onto aft deck from hard top. This leak is a design flaw, it is where the aft deck hardtop meets the bridge arch and is not sealed. there is a big gap that permits rain water to enter and is in excess of 4 gals on both sides during a storm.

Re: carver 396 rain leak aft deck hard top at arch joint
My wife and I have a 2006 36MY that has a hardtop over the aft cabin patio area. There are two "drain holes" in the underside aft port/starboard corners. Both of us standing on the same side will cause the "out powering" of water from these drain holes, which I now prod religiously with a piece of trimmer line to keep clear.
I to was baffled as to where the water was coming from? but hadn't yet gotten on the patio area roof.

thanks for your response. On my 396 the hardtop roof is bolted to the radar arch and there is a several inch gap(both sides) that has no way to seal rain water flowing off the aft deck roof. This a major design default. I Need a good contact at carver to address this issue and get a recommendation on fixing.
