Well , a sorry state for me I think.....just changed the oil / filters and winterized the genny...boat to come out next week, all the old gas will be sucked out of the tanks as we have not used the boat for much more than a day cottage this year....we seem to have lost the drive for big boat boating, I now like the satisfaction of working on it more than untying the lines. Hopefully next year will see us re-energized or Mr or in our case Mrs Broker here we come.....
Hmmm, I am just getting started. Gone for a 10 day trip. Probably coming out first or second week of October. Best time of the year, marinas, anchorages, you name it are abandoned yet the weather is still great. https://www.theweathernetwork.com/ca/we ... o/prescott

I used my boat less this year than I planned to. Sometimes things get in the way. I have about a month+ left in my season. Will pull in late October. May take one or two more short trips.

Yea! Where did the season go? Looking at the last week in October for haul out. Gathering all the winterizing items and getting ready for the process.

Late October for me. If the weather holds, we have some gorgeous cruising ops in our area, as well as some fun fall festivals. I like that cool, crisp air of late summer. Fire up the Palm Tree and hang out in the cockpit. Store in warm storage, so no winterizing for me. er

I am coming out on October 8th. I did the oil and filter changes this past weekend. I will winterize on the dry. This will be the first time for me winterizing my engines. Big step, so fingers crossed. Midnight Sun was a great help to me with my plan. Probably over thinking it, but helps my comfort level. Supposed to be a great weekend here, so may do a day trip.
T, drain all of the raw water circuit before running antifreeze, you don't want to make a mistake on D6s. Don't forget to test the engine coolant. Buy yourself a refractometer on Amazon.ca to test it, they are more accurate than the floatie types.
Tried to send a PM to talk about the equipment you recommended. Not going through for some reason. Could you contact me via PM and I can communicate with you. Thanks.
Was not a good usage year for us. 10 engine hours, life was tough this year with family and work, not crappy seas. SO, next Sunday 09/30 hopefully a daytrip, then we empty and I winterize the water and AC systems, and take her for the run up the river to the winter storage. NEXT YEAR!
The boat came out fine.....dead calm morning with heavy fog.
This year they are not washing the boats at the lift but have mobile coming in once a week, so far people are not happy with this, we will see if it works to some advantage regarding time savings vs the cost as they have way more boats to put to bed this year.. .... Work on boat to remove gas and winterize the engines has not started yet.....Lots to wait for , there is always drama.
Downstairs boat room is once again filling back up with the stuff it seems we just took out of there..
