Patching Gelcoat
1994 320 Voyager owner. Chipped my swim platform about the size of a silver dollar. Would like to repair before winter. Local repair shop has recommended patch Paste by Spectrum. Does anyone have experience with this product and if so what color should i use to match my boat. I am a new Carver owner and monitor this website constantly for insights. Thanks.

Re: Patching Gelcoat
It's a good DIY product for small repairs. If you contact Spectrum with your model and year, chances are they'll know exactly what color was used. You can also contact Carver with your hull number and they'll provide the info you need to supply to Spectrum to be sure. The caution here is that the current color may be slightly different from the original application some 20 plus years ago due to environmental conditions and the frequency of proper maintenance or lack there of.
