Am wondering if anyone can tell me the original battery(s) location on a 88 Santego.
I believe someone has relocated the batteries on our new to us boat.
They are currently under the bench seat on the aft deck. You flip up the cushion and they are inside the compartment.
Looks pretty rinky dink to me.
Pictures would be awesome
Thanks
Oh and I cannot find their location in any manual.
Is that a 38' Santego, or the 30' Santego? If you don't get an answer from someone with the same model, just email Carver with your hull#. They will be able to answer for sure. And yes, they do respond. er

Craig_B, under the cockpit bench seat is the original location on the 88 Santego 3067. That’s the same place they where on my old 88 3067 Santego. It will hold three batteries, one for each engine and one for the generator, if you have one. On my current 3867 Santego they are on the outboard sides of each engine, with the generator battery on a shelf underneath the generator.

I believe that is the original location for some of those models as I have seen a few set up that way.
