Hi Feeez, not sure if you are budgeting for a motor as well. Yesterday i just purchased a Zodiac 260 zoom at CO2 inflatables in Midland for $895.00.

Re: In the Market for a Dingy
After one season with a Zodiac 8 1/2 ft Cadet and 4hp Merc, got rid of it for a Portabote 8 1/2 ft folding boat with 5hp Merc. No dealing with pressure issues due to sun compression/deflation etc, pin holes; lots more room inside the PB, higher gunwales so less wet, gets on plane with two adults and a 5hp Merc up to around 15 knots. Stores easily on either port or stbd walkway, easy to set up and disassemble. Lots of fun to drive too. Total setup for boat and motor from Craigslist was about $1k .

Yes I am looking for a motor as part of the package. Was this new? What kind of floor is it?

Hey Fraser - when I bought my Silverton 42C, I purchased a RIB at Holland Marine in Port Credit. They were the best and cheapest around that I could find. I think I paid $1100, keep in mnd that is a fiberglass bottom and tube sides. Little boat went like stink with a 9.9 on it. Its a family owned business and they are very helpful.

I went to Bay Port in Midland during the week and got hooked up with a guy selling his Dinghy.
Mercury 10' Super clean
Mercury 2 stroke 9.9 Runs like a charm
All the bits and pieces, oars etc.
I also got all the davits for the Dinghy and the part for my boat in the deal.
$2350....
Happy camper!!
