Hi All,
Just bought this 1996 Carver 455 and the aft cabin head exhaust blower doesn't work - can anybody tell me how to find it please? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

Re: Carver 455 - Aft head blower
I had the same question. But eventually the light bulb went on and after exhaustive efforts to find them (without dismantling the cupboardry in the head!), they are actually accessed from little steel vents that you don't really notice on the outside of the boat. Mine were all ceased up ... now replacing them is a different matter ... you may have to get the screw driver out and remove some cupboardry ... and in my case, even remove parts that are siliconed / glued on ... I have a Carver 466 which I don't think is a great deal different, and I haven't bothered replacing them yet. However, I tried rotating them a bit and spraying some CR70 on them ... I think mine are too far gone. Anyway, I hope that helps.

I'm thinking, on the 455, there should be some access panel in a cabinet, or they should be in an area where they could be readily accessed...some disassembly may be required...or LONG arms

As mentioned, I gained access through a vent on the outside of the hull ...
