I must assume that line comes from the shower or sink. Looks like a home made shower sump with a waste pump. The on the shelf unit should be similar to this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFZM-QlGcyc

Hans has it right on spot Marcq . I had a 3067 myself and I’ll be doggone if my shower sump didn’t looks like yours there. On mine the a/c condensation also drained to it. Get rid of that and get one like in the video Hans posted. And a big welcome aboard to another Santego owner. The admiral and I have moved up from the 3067 to it bigger brother the 3867.

It's probably your shower drain hose going into the sump. That style of sump was used a lot in Carver builds of that vintage. The new ones are a much better design, more compact as they incorporate the pump inside the unit, and they're covered which helps alleviate odour issues.

Thanks guys!! Learn some everyday I'd like to keep it as is since it's a pretty simple setup, If I change, then I need to extend hoses with fittings

So y’all’s showers get pumped to the bottom of the boat instead of out the side? What a terrible design. The pump would always be facing head pressure.

No, they flow into a shower sump and then get pumped overboard no different than water that flows into the bilge and gets pumped overboard via a bilge pump. Problem is shower drains are too low to allow for them to flow directly overboard like a sink and therefor require assistance through a pump. Usually shower drains are located about the same height as water level or even below where drainage via gravity is impossible. The shower sump does a good job of the problem as it allows for regular cleaning and maintenance which is a must if you want it to function properly in the long run. They do pump overboard unless you live in a country/area where you legally require a grey water tank and in those cases all sink and shower water goes into the grey water tank which needs to be pumped out just like your black water tank. I would have a hard time with a grey water tank, all showers and dishwater would fill the tank in no time. What a major PITA that would be.
