Where can I get a build schematic for my boat?

Post by gotjeepzj »

Free is perfect but I don’t mind paying either. I’m chasing a short somewhere and it would be nice to know where wired run. I also think I have a leak somewhere I can’t see because there’s always water in the galley hatch compartment. I’d like to find a schematic that shows how things were run so I can track the all pipes down

You can go to the Carver Yachts website and click on support. They have owners manual and better yet parts manuals showing what you are looking for. And yes its FREE!

Our 1986 3297 Mariner got water in the galley bilge every time it rained. I assumed the bridge drained there. Looked for an internal water leak to weeks, then while on the hard and after a good rain, water showed up in the galley bilge again! Never got a definite answer if the bridge does drain there or not. What or where do you think the electrical short is? The electric is divided port and starboard as far as receptacles go. Are you tripping a main breaker or and individual breaker and is it 12 volt or 110 volt?

Sorry guys. No breaker gets tripped. I have an outside outlet that ties into one in the saloon. I lost power to those two as well as the on by the sink. However the other ones on the same breaker in the vberth worked fine. I pulled and tugged wires and nothing worked. Put it all back together and it started working again...

That tells me there was a possible bad connection/bad receptacle or there could be a wire broken inside the cable somewhere .
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.
