rjr wrote:Qr Bbpost We have a situation similar to the one Smoken recently posted. When on marina water we have good pressure & flow on all faucets & showers. When we switch to the ship system, there is a dribble at faucets & showers. We replaced the pump over the winter. Checked all faucets/shower heads for debris. All clean.

Thanx in advance.

Did you replace the pump to fix this problem or did this show up after the pump replacement ? If the latter you may have just got a bad pump....happens a lot nowadays. Check your connections, is there possibly a shut off valve between the tank and the pump ?
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.

I have noticed that the little screw-in filters on my taps were clogged and in need of replacement. A trip to Home Depot fixed the problem.

Update! Problem solved (I think). Buster was on target with his assessment. The filter wasn't clogged but had some debris from tank. The molded plastic fitting before the filter was clogged with small pieces of mineral(?) material that had migrated from the tank.

Here's the crazy part because there is always a crazy part with our boat/home projects. While we were smiling and feeling good, all of a sudden there was NO water. Looked at the switch on the panel and it was OFF. Neither one of us had gone near the panel. Flipped it on and everything was fine.

Crazy part 2: Upon going back to marina water, the cold water was almost at dribble level. Hot water was fine. Investigation tomorrow.
