2004 466 MY Reading Light

Hi to All,
Looking for the LED replacement bulb or fixture for the reading light above the forward stateroom bed.

Hard to tell what kind of bulb is the fixture, but there is a LED replacement for just about any kind of bulb made. No need to replace the entire fixture.
My old sailboat had festoon bulbs that I replaced with LED bulbs I got from SuperbrightLED.com and my current Carver had a bunch of halogens and I found those at Amazon.
There are tons of places you can find LED bulbs. Google is your friend

Thank you for your reply. I couldn't figure how to get to the bulb. The round portion of the fixture would separate from the the base, but then I wasn't sure how to get to the bulb for fear of breaking it.
Recently, I did change all my lights to LED's from Amazon and very pleased with results.

I have a couple in my 405. A few years ago I changed everything to led bulbs and fiddled with these for a bit and then just quit. I really never use them. If you do eventually fit the correct led bulb do you mind posting what it is?

I believe it is an MR 16 bulb. Should be readily available. The come in 12 and 120 v, so make sure you get the 12v

OK, finally got the bulb out by prying open with small screwdriver blade. The bulb is 12 volt, 5 watt, GE 58540. The replacement from Amazon is about $34 each.

Or search yourself for a BA9S T2.75 bulb.
