I recently purchased a 1977 Carver Santa Cruz for $300. I know it ran shortly before it was confiscated because the owner "borrowed" someone's trailer and never returned it. We put some holes in the hull while jacking it up off the tires to put it on my friend's trailer. I have patched those already. The engine cover was left off and the engine was submerged by rainwater. I am now beginning my adventure of getting the engine running and sorting out the wiring nightmare the previous owner left for me.
Wish me luck.
Hello everybody.

Sounds like a bit of a project. Wishing you the best of luck getting her up and running. Hope it works out.

Re: Hello everybody.
Welcome aboard Aubrey.
You've got your hands full now but I'm sure you'll have goods times ahead once she's all ship shape. If you have any questions, the crew here are a great bunch and always willing to help out.

Re: Hello everybody.
We have a 1975 28' 2865 Santa Cruz. It was in pretty good shape when we bought it but it had projects to do like installing a holding tank, new water heater, fresh water pump and switches and circuit breaker. Not to mention new radios and depth gauges plus new seat bases on the Flybridge. Jim
