Dipstick rubber for V-drive

Post by Dark Horse »

Does anyone know where I can get just the rubber piece that goes on the V-Drive transmission dipstick?
I can find plenty of replacment dipsticks but they tend to be a fair amount of money when all I need is the rubber piece.

If it's like mine, that rubber piece is supposed to be stuck (glued?) to the metal cap, so you can hold the cap while you tighten the dipstick.

The piece o have now is kinda chewed up and spilt. I would like to replace it but prolly end up buying a new dipstick unless I can find one at the salvage yard.
