Re: 95 355 water heater
They usually have two mounting plates, one style is front and back, and the other is one on left and right. I've seen both on 355s and depending on the style, one of the mounts can be a real pain to get at. It's quite a reach but see if the hatch inside the aft bench floor of the dinette makes things any easier. Some models have other hardware in that compartment like AC, Vacuflush generator, etc which would have to come out

Thanks Viper.
That is what i was afraid of. Will check out access under forward dinette seat. Its not going to be good. May have to do some cutting. Will keep all informed.

Take some pictures and add it to this thread with a little explanation, really helpful to others who will eventually be doing the same thing. This site is made by all the great people who help each other out here, definitely my favourite site of all.

Re: 95 355 water heater
There's 2 or 3 different configurations on how they packed everything into that compartment. One setup is easy to get the AC unit out but not the hot water heater and vice versa. I know they were probably concerned with load and the table being there but with a little ingenuity they could have made that hole section of floor a hatch for easier access.
