325 Aft Cabin Outlet Diagram

Postby Thekaj » July 18th, 2020, 8:23 pm

Figured I’d hit up this forum to see if anyone might be able to help. All the inside electrical outlets on the starboard side of our 1995 325 Aft Cabin have stopped working. The outlets in the aft cabin are still working, and they should be on the same circuit. I replaced the GFCI outlet on the aft deck, as it was dead, but while that was brought back to life, the ones on the inside remain lifeless.

I’m assuming this is an issue of either a dead outlet or bad connection somewhere in the line. I pulled several outlets and ran a voltage test, but couldn’t find the culprit (none are receiving juice). I figure if someone knows the order the outlets are wired, I can focus in on the first dead one.

Thanks in advance!

Most likely, you have another GFCI outlet somewhere on the boat. Usually, they are near water outlets, but not always. Just do a search.

Any chance you have a tripped breaker you haven't noticed?

I would start at the ac panel breaker for that circuit if you have no ac in line. Heres the manual for your boat. the ac circuit pathway is lacking but it may be of some help......https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source= ... jVzi0Tpfo_

I did find another GFCI outlet on the bridge. I confirmed it’s at the end of the circuit, but I plan on replacing it anyway.

And I definitely have been checking through the AC panel for any issues. There are three that connect to outlets, and all three have live outlets when on. Plus, I confirmed voltage on all of them.

Thanks for the tips!

If you have three receptacle breakers you have at least three GFI's to find.
Sometimes they are under counters, or in cabinets, but hey are there somewhere.

Make sure while you are checking that you have unplugged all appliances etc from those circuits you are checking.......if one has a fault it will keep the circuit off.

I think I counted somewhere around 7 on the schematic and parts list G36 put up.
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.....
