Head discharge system

Post by Escandell69 »

Hello there! I just got my first cruiser a 1989 carver montego 2557, my question is , there's a hatch under the aft cabin mattress that contains something with hoses and a pump looking device with a removable handle. Can you guys please tell me what this is? Thanks a million in advance. :worthy:

Can you post a pic please? I had a 25 Montego, but that was 20 years ago and I don't remember what's under there

No pic yet?
The is the water pimp for the pressure system the shower sump pump and the seacock to the waste system on the starboard side. and a small hatch on port side with gas tank inspection and filler and level access.

What are you seeing with a removable handle?

Thanks , I haven't post a picture because am recuperating from a bad accident. The removable handle goes into a pump looking cylindrical shape. I ll post that picture as soon as I can start walking again but thanks for taking your time to help me.
