The shower sumps pump overboard out the side of the hull, not the bottom.

QR_BBPOST The engine/bilge blowers work now that the breaker is in place. I searched for the water diagram and could not find it. Does the shower sumps push this "gray water" to the holding tanks or discharges out the bottom of the boat?

The diagram I had I posted above as a .jpg. Not sure if that was what you were really looking for though.

On my boat, there are two shower sumps.

One just outside the aft head door and it takes just the tub drain and pumps it overboard on the starboard side, below where the fuel vent is located. The aft head sink drain goes directly to a thru hull discharge on the starboard side, right next to where the sink is located.

The fwd sump is between the shower and fwd head sink and it takes the drains from both that sink and shower and pumps them overboard just behind the galley and just below the output for the two bilge pumps. That drain is also combined with the galley drain in the engine room before it goes to the overboard discharge, which is close to the waterline.

If you have Air conditioning, the condensate lines from those units might also drain into either one of the shower sumps. Mine didn't come with AC from the factory, so I don't really know how they did it.

Unless that output hose is split wide open, which is what happened to one of mine a while ago.
