Mariner 350 Helm station

Post by John Miller »

I’m a new owner of a 350 Mariner, question I have is: on each side of the helm station is a red light (when lit) what are these signaling? Thanks

Welcome to the forum and Carver....if you have the 454's , you may be seeing the v drive oil pressure lights. They should go out as the rpms go up with the trans in gear....maybe around 1200 rpms in gear.
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.

That’s great, there’s a reason they call them idiot lights. Nowhere in all the Carver reading material are these mentioned. Thanks again!&
