Fuel tank vent cap

Post by jsurfwhite »

One of my fuel tank vent caps is missing on my 2000 356 Aft deck. Any ideas on where to buy one? Do I need to replace. Will I need to replace the vent? I see vent assemblies on line, but no cap. Thanks

on my 405 the vents are chrome and look like the one in the link. I found this to be cheapest option. I just needed the cap too so I just unscrewed what I need for the outside and left the rest of the vent alone. The cap just unscrews very easy. If yours isn't this there are more attwood vents on Amazon to choose from..https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001YXO1 ... psc=1&th=1
