Original Gauges

Post by Austinorson »

Hello,
My 1980 3326 has all original gauges, except one. I do have the original one that was replaced.

Does anyone know how to refurbish old 1980gauges?

I was going to shine up all connections. But can a old tach gauge be restored?

Thx

I believe you can send them in to the manufacturer for refurbishing. Not sure who makes them but probably Faria or Teleflex as those are/were the main gauge suppliers for almost all boats. Find out what brand they are and give them a call. Do expect to pay more than a new gauge though however this is true of most anything discontinued nowadays. :captain2:

There used to be a few outfits around that restored old vintage car gauges, dash clusters etc....google may help here.
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.
