Bilge Heaters

Yep I have to heat 2 areas in my 405 aft cabin. So 1 in engine room and 1 in aft section of the boat bilge. Like nharrison5 said 1 may not be enough.

I use an Extreme heater and this year bought a Twin Hornet to go with it. We live aboard all winter so we don't winterize. Our bilge stays around 40 degrees. Takes a little for the shower to warm up :-D I have diesels so I installed an outlet in the bilge.

Our boat came with a Caframo Pali Engine Room and Bilge heater... just put in engine bay today as low is expected to be mid teens over the next few days:
