Re: Who Owns The Oldest Carver
Looks like we have 2 1977's both Santa Cruz's. Looks like a 25 footer and a 28 footer. You guys are tied so far for the oldest Carvers. Cool.

My Santa Cruz was built Dec 1976 as a 1977 model, purchased new by my father May 1977 in Baltimore Md, and still runs great!

How many hours will original crusader twin 220 last on a 1982 Carver 3007 Aft cabin?

Should probably start a new thread for that kind of question. In general, no one really knows because it's all determined by how well the engines were taken care and how hard they were run. I have ~1250 hrs on my engines and last year did compression tests and leakdown tests and all cylinders came out "impressive" (to me anyways). But I also know that for at least the last 800 hours that the engines have not been pinned to the redline when we go out cruising.
