Re: led lights
Replaced all the interior lights with the Dream lights suggested in this forum. A little time consuming removing the old lights as they crumbled apart, but what a world of difference. Also began replacing exterior lighting. Thanks to all for the beneficial information.

Re: led lights
Those dream lights are pretty nice. Color is perfect. Now if I could find a nice Decora style 12v dimmer to replace my switch I would be a happy camper. Been looking at this one because it is the only decent looking one I have found so far. https://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/0.h ... _edm_other

Re: led lights
Those are nice but would they fit in a current Decora opening and mount? Would be nice if it did.

Re: led lights
Sure looks like they do. Ordered a couple from AliExpress, will report back in spring.

I recommend Partsam 6X 4 marine/boat. Great for lighting dark compartments! I use these on my boat as they are sealed and 100% plastic so they won't corrode. They provide a very good light source for dark compartments.
