I previously owned a 1963 30 'Chris Craft Constellation powered by twin 283 engines. It was a woodie but a fun seaworthy boat. At one time Chris Craft boats were the boats to own around here. They were built in Michigan back then.

Nice find - fresh water & covered. Sounds exciting, especially with the maiden voyage. Welcome to the gang!

Stevekw,
I don't know how many 1988 3607's were for sale in Stockton, but it sounds like the one at Village West. We bought our 89 3607 from Sacramento and took it to Stockton. 50+ miles in one day is do-able but a long day. Take your time and make a stop at Walnut Grove.
Good luck with the boat, we really enjoy ours. a 3607 will handle small-craft advisory in the bay if you get caught in one.

Re: New Carver owner
We left Stockton in the early afternoon and spent the night in steamboat Slough. The next morning we could barely see through the fog so we took it slow but by the time we got to the Freeport Bridge the sun was out. I’ve done a lot of work on her in the last month and taking her out a few times and still very much in love and looking forward to many great times aboard heaven Scent.

Yes this is the one that was at Village West. I think it was from upriver here previously as I have an old picture that shows Fair Oaks on the stern. I also found some Sacramento yacht club Kuzis in the galley which is really cool since it’s living at the Sacramento yacht club now.Winegrapewill wrote:QR_BBPOST Stevekw,

Yen Highwater years it does. Look at the markings on the pilings and you can see that the docks have been up there towards the top.
