Anybody hear of The Edmund Fitzgerald? Broke in two in Lake Superior. Probably from a deep dive, never proven if that or caught between two waves. We probably have members who are relatives of that crew. RIP and God Bless! Finest Hour is one of those movies you can't take a break from. So much heroism. One of the crew is from my area, I believe it is Marinette, WI. Passed away not very long ago.

That is one scary thing to watch happen. I've been out in some rough stuff in my boats over the years but fortunately none of them broke in two including a couple of Bayliners. Contrary to popular opinion Bayliners can handle some rough stuff.

Re: Ship Cracks In Half At Sea
Bayliners were built pretty much the same as SeaRay boats. In some cases, they were built side by side. The Bayliners just had a lower quality fit and finish of the creature comfort items and in many cases lower hp power packages to keep the costs down.
