Yoo Hoo - spring will be here soon! Temps in the 50's today & tomorrow, 60's on Sunday. Yea, I know it's Friday. Keep chomping on that popcorn. I just want to be as accurate as possible, and respectful to the parties involved. 8-) er

Cooler. I see you are in Wisconsin. How are you aware of this coming news? Do you work for Carver, or is this rumor from a friend?

I do not work for Carver. It is a rumor from a friend, but the friend is more than reliable, he is directly involved with the transaction. Main Carver facility is just 15 miles from where I live, and I have a number of friends who work for, or previously worked for Carver/Marquis. There is just one minor impediment to this transaction, so I need to wait until that is mitigated. But again,...this is an overall good news story. 8-) er

So here I am watching PBT and there is a review of a 42' express type boat powered by triple outboards......Hmmmmmm.

Wow tops out at 50 with 30 cruise.
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.....

Hans - Full disclosure - I am no longer licensed to provide financial advice or opinions. My license expired more than 5 yrs ago. But, even if you wanted to, I don't think you can, and I am not planning any transaction on my personal behalf with my own funds. Guess I could not if I wanted to now. That is one reason I can't disclose any players. I would not do well in prison.

Bud - I wish I could find the link of the test for Mercury's new V12, 600HP outboards. They had 4 mounted on a 48' express, think it was a Formula. I believe the top speed was near 60, with a 35 cruise. But ho-boy did that set up burn fuel. And at 77K an engine, seems a little pricey. 8-) er

If the news is released tomorrow, I will not update in respect to that time honored tradition. Had I known it was going to take this long, I would have waited to introduce. Sorry for the anxiety. 8-) er
