Re: 42 MARINER HOW STEREO WORKS

Post by Tireless »

On my boat, the stereo on the bridge controls all my external speakers. To control the volume in the speaker in the cockpit I use the fade control. My speakers inside the boat and for the TV are controlled by a different stereo/DVD.

Carver is notorious for having a number of breakers on your boat for the stereo. You may have a separate breaker for the helm power, the radio and you may also have a stereo memory breaker. In my boat, the breaker for the helm power and radio are in the salon, however, the breaker for the stereo memory is in the rear stateroom with the main breakers. If they are all on it should work, however, if one of them is off, it won’t work. All boats are different due to aftermarket installations.

Maybe this may help you.
