Engine compartment blowers
Hello working on my 2004 Carver 36 and the engine compartment blowers are not getting power, I have power at the helm switch and cabin panel but no power to the blower motor themselves, I fed 12v with a power probe directly to the motor and the blower worked? So I checked the ground on the bus bar and it's good? So where could be the problem?

Re: Engine compartment blowers
If the voltage is coming out of the switch, it's normally a free run right to the blower. Odd for sure. You cannot trace the wire from the switch to the blower?

The wire is identify as F2, there's a F2 tag at the beginning of the wire and at the end, it runs behind the panel down a whole of combined wires down a hole between the panel and the tv and disappears, what do you rec I do?

Re: Engine compartment blowers
Since we're assuming the POS side is good an easy thing to do is running a temporary Negative wire to a house or engine battery or known good ground somewhere by the blower and try running the blower

Do you have 4 blowers? If so check out this schematic, section 2....... it seems to show relays and a master ?LetGoJones wrote:QR_BBPOST The wire is identify as F2, there's a F2 tag at the beginning of the wire and at the end, it runs behind the panel down a whole of combined wires down a hole between the panel and the tv and disappears, what do you rec I do?

Re: Engine compartment blowers
If you have the Mariner with 2 blowers then they seem to be just a switch / breaker then the blower itself.....
