I used to use a small 5lb bottle and did the same you want to do with the hose shown above, still have it but went back to the 1lb bottles.

I would get the hose Hans mentioned above, you want to use the regulator that came with the grill, that way you know it's the right spec for that unit.HudsonRiver01 wrote:Source of the post ...can I just purchase a propane grill set up with regulator....

Thank you both for the advice. Steaks will be ready soon actually I think Striper will be the first meal. We just have a couple in the freezer from this week.
