Gas Grill

Postby HudsonRiver01 » May 20th, 2021, 9:03 pm

OK, so stupid question. I just purchased a propane grill (Kuuma). Instead of using the small screw on tanks, can I just purchase a propane grill set up with regulator from Home Depot and use that? I should know this but.. :beergood:

It will work fine however you will need to purchase the adapter hose to connect the home depot bottle to the regulator of the Kuuma grill which has threads for a small 1 lb bottle. Like this. https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/mast ... 1097p.html

I used to use a small 5lb bottle and did the same you want to do with the hose shown above, still have it but went back to the 1lb bottles.
Cheers, Hans

I would get the hose Hans mentioned above, you want to use the regulator that came with the grill, that way you know it's the right spec for that unit.

Thank you both for the advice. Steaks will be ready soon :) actually I think Striper will be the first meal. We just have a couple in the freezer from this week.
