New member, hello all!

Hello everyone, we recently sold our 1994 Carver 280 Express after 9 great years with her. We just took delivery of a 1984 Carver 3607 aft cabin this past weekend. She has twin 454 mercs and we do have much to learn about this boat. Any advice or things to look for would be appreciated. I’m sure I will have many questions along the way as we get used to a much larger boat and spend as much time as possible in the western basin of wonderful Lake Erie this summer. We hope to soon cruise to Canada, Michigan, New York and our goal is to do the entire Erie Canal next summer. -Capt. Steve-O

I have owned my 405 Aft Cabin for over 10 years now and love it. Your layout is very similar . Carver knows how to utilize pretty much every inch of space. Only downside is it can be a headache trying to access some items they may need maintaining or replaced. This is a great site so hope I or anybody else with experience can help in the future.
