In water transducer install for Cal ‘48 1989

Postby Kjmo21 » June 8th, 2021, 4:05 pm

My diver wants to know if the hull material is solid Fiberglas or if it has foam core before he does an in water install of a new transducer. I have a ‘48 Californian Carver 1989. Thanks

Solid fiberglass. No core. You can opt for a transducer in the bilge also. They work well if they are properly positioned. 8-) er

Yeah, the "in hull" transducers work pretty well. No drilling needed
