In water transducer install for Cal ‘48 1989
My diver wants to know if the hull material is solid Fiberglas or if it has foam core before he does an in water install of a new transducer. I have a ‘48 Californian Carver 1989. Thanks

Solid fiberglass. No core. You can opt for a transducer in the bilge also. They work well if they are properly positioned.

Yeah, the "in hull" transducers work pretty well. No drilling needed
