Bridge Clearance for 2000 356 Aft Cabin

Postby jsurfwhite » June 29th, 2021, 10:50 pm

Anyone know bridge clearance on a 356 Aft Cabin. I have found some specs of waterline to bridge of 17’ 3”. I have an anchor light on the deck roof, so not sure of clearance. Guess I could measure light, but it’s a little tricky getting out on the roof, or I could take down the Bimini. If there’s a spec somewhere, much easier. Thanks

That 17'2" is gonna be pretty accurate to the top of the light. My 405 has the same height spec, luckily my arch folds (oem from carver) and I can reduce my over all height to 13ft. Depending on loaded tanks and other stuff you might be a little lower but measuring it is only true way to know.

Great, thanks. I will be passing under a bridge this weekend that has 23 ft clearance. Should be good.

Yeah that shouldn't be a problem. Remember any vhf or other antennas just in case. Safe travels

I measured 30” height for anchor light. Added to bridge height of 17’6”, for 20' total. Cleared Bridge of Lions bridge in St Augustine easily. Fender at bridge read 19', then added 4' per the bridge operator.

My ‘96 355 book shows 17’5” which seems pretty accurate to the top of the anchor light.
