Trim Tabs Reservoir Location?

Post by mphillmd »

Hi
I'm new to this site. I have a 2003 Carver 444. Trying to locate the reservoir for the trim tabs. Owners manual no help. Anyone know where to find it? Thank you.

Hi Mike,
Belated welcome, if your still looking for your trim tab reservoir try looking Aft. I have a 1997 405 and I located mine under the bed in the Aft cabin. I looked through a floor panel and found it mounted directly beneath the Starboard side of the headboard against the Aft bulkhead. Mine used Tran fluid to fill.

Ya how did we miss this one?
As noted above, they are typically mounted close to or directly to the transom. Here is a link to a picture:

Sorry for the delayed replies Mike, this is not the norm here. Usually we're on it right away but I don't recall seeing this one.
