I only have a couple posts here so far but I've been working on our 2827 non stop since we bought it in early April.
All new exhaust/cooling on the port side (starboard is in process now)
New distributors
New fuel pump
New ignition wiring
New Norcold
New outlet added to forward closet for TV in stateroom
New Raptor (like SeaDek) flooring going on the bridge TODAY! (excited)
But my most enjoyable project has been working the wood. It was very dull and grey at first. It really helps give the deck a much prettier and 'pulled together' look. Plus every time I get a stain out of the fiber glass, or bring an old small piece of wood back to life, it shows me the next thing I need to do. and the next thing.... and the next thing.... lol
I'm loving the endless list of projects on this vessel.

Keep up the hard work, but take some time to enjoy it too.

Re: Bringing the Old Wood Back to Life
This weekend we rafted up with new friends from the local yacht club for a few days. It felt like 10 years worth of hard work and research all culminating in an amazing 4th of July. I'm still a bit emotional about the success of the trip!

Re: Bringing the Old Wood Back to Life
Thanks for the compliments guys!
Just got back from a long fishing trip so my next items on the to do list are:
Repair waste cap (was seized, I'd like a new thru hull but for now just need to find the replacement nylon cap).
Replace the curtesy lights in the aft deck there. They've probably been dead for a decade. I'm going to replace the metal plates they mount to with small pieces of teak, as well as the kick panel behind the bridge ladder.
