new fridge maybe?
My fridge in our 390CPMY is an original NORCOLD. It is working but I believe it is getting old and I am not one who likes to replace when “under the gun” so to speak, so I am thinking of a planned replacement. I have seen Norcold, Isotherm and Vertrigo. Any input? I have a two door type freezer on top approx 7 to 8 cu ft.

I had the same model and I was going to replace it with a Vitrifrigo,,, like this one (and they're currently on sale there):

The dimensions for the NORCOLD I have are so close: 52 7/8" x 23 1/4" wide and 23 3/4" deep. Any input if this may slide in? It is 1 cu/Ft bigger in capacity.

Re: new fridge maybe?
Are those your cut-out dimensions or the dimensions of the older unit? If it's the older unit, then you may have enough clearance to fit the new one in. If they're the actual cut-out dimensions, you may be able to trim enough to get the new one in. Make sure the overall dimension (H&W) of the new unit also work with the compartment so they're no overhang on the flange on the front.

They are SO close and I hate to get the NORCOLD again and hate to remove to measure. I may have to scope out further.

Re: new fridge maybe?
You probably wouldn't have to remove it all the way. Just pull the screws on the flange and slide it out an inch or two. That should allow you to see how much bigger the opening is than the fridge itself.

I found
http://www.marinewarehouse.net
Great price on the DP2600 Stainless that I need.
Going to order from them.
Never mind. Don't take credit card. Too risky for my blood.

Looks like tyhey take MC, Visa and AMEX. However, the freight will kill any savings.
